Eating out should be a pleasurable experience, and that is our main consideration when you dine with us. Whether you want a quick snack, a full English Breakfast or a more leisurely meal with friends we want to provide you with good food in a relaxed atmosphere, with us paying attention to the detail, leaving you to free to enjoy yourselves.

Our menu has been chosen to give a wide choice of food to suit all tastes, which it is hoped give a flavour of foods from all round the globe. We even include fresh fish flown in from the Caribbean and the coasts of Australia, the Indian Ocean, & the North Pacific. Some meals will become unavailable because we buy limited numbers to ensure fresh products on your table. Feel free to ring in advance and book your meal - not just your table – that way you won’t be disappointed. If you have any special requests, please let us know. We are happy to make special dishes, or try and locate different ingredients or your favourite fish. This is an Independent Freehouse you can talk to us because we are the people who choose the menu and buy the food.

It is no good having good food without good wine and beer to go with it and we are pleased to offer Adnams Bitter and a selection of their superb wines to add to your enjoyment. We also offer Youngs Bitter on a regular basis with the occasional guest ale.

We try to provide good food in a friendly atmosphere with genuine personality and good service so that you can remember it with pleasure.

JUST PASSING
We serve Tea and Coffee everyday from 7 a.m. – 2.30 p.m. and from 5 p.m. till closing time.

BREAKFAST
Breakfast is available from 7 a.m. all the time we are open

SUNDAY ROAST
We provide a proper Sunday Roast from 12.00 through the afternoon until 8.00 p.m. There is a choice of beef, and at least one other choice of Pork or Turkey. We do provide for vegetarians, and the normal menu is available also.
